Refund Policy

Last updated: [Effective date]

Draft, pending TOR and lawyer review

This page is a draft and is not in force yet. Text in [brackets] marks a fact or a decision that is still open.

This policy explains how prepaid credits work on AZRouter and when you can get money back. It is part of our Terms of Service, between you and [Legal entity name].

01Prepaid credits

AZRouter is prepaid. You buy credits in US dollars, and each request takes its cost from your balance. Stripe processes card payments. You enter card details on Stripe's page, not on ours.

Stripe sandbox is enabled for testing: no real card charge is made. Eligible card, wallet and PromptPay methods are shown by Stripe.

Platform fee: 5.5% of the credit amount, with a $0.70 minimum, added on top and rounded to cents. $5 credits cost $5.70; $100 credits cost $105.50. Fees do not count toward credits or tier progress. THB payments use the displayed ECB daily reference rate via Frankfurter plus a disclosed 1% FX buffer.

02Refunds of unused credits

Draft for TOR review: unused purchased credits are refundable. The platform fee is non-refundable. THB refunds use the original purchase conversion, not the rate on the refund date. Refunds cannot exceed the unused purchased credit amount.

[How to ask for a refund]

Common options:

  • Email [email protected] from the address on the account.
  • A refund button on the Credits page. It does not exist yet.

A refund returns through the original Stripe payment method. When a refund is made, the corresponding USD credit is removed from your balance. [How long a refund takes to arrive]

03Credits already used

Each request appears in Activity with its model, units and cost.

[Whether used credits are ever refunded]

Common options:

  • Never: usage is final once a request is made.
  • Credits back for requests that failed because of an error on our side.
  • Case by case, if you contact us within a set number of days.

04Credit expiry and automatic top-up

Today, credits have no expiry date, and AZRouter has no automatic top-up.

[Whether unused credits expire]

Common options:

  • Credits never expire.
  • Credits expire 12 months after purchase.
  • Credits expire after 12 months with no account activity.

05Promotional credits

AZRouter is not giving out free or trial credits today.

[Rules for promotional or trial credits, if they are offered]

Common options:

  • Not refundable and no cash value.
  • Expire on the date given when they are issued.
  • Used before, or after, credits you paid for.

06What credits are

Credits pay for AZRouter usage and nothing else. There is no way to move credits to another account or to withdraw them.

[Whether credits have any cash value outside this policy]

Common options:

  • No cash value, except the refunds in this policy or where the law requires.
  • Cash value on request.

07Disputed payments

If you dispute a card payment with your bank, we hold the credits that payment bought. If the dispute is lost, we freeze the account: its API keys are disabled, and new keys and top-ups are blocked until we review it.

Please contact us at [email protected] before you dispute a charge. We may be able to fix the problem faster.

08Closing your account

[What happens to unused credits when an account is closed]

Common options:

  • Refunded to the card, minus payment fees.
  • Refunded only when we close the account without cause.
  • Forfeited.

09Changes to this policy

We will post changes on this page with a new date.

[Whether changes apply to credits bought before the change]

Common options:

  • Only to top-ups made after the new date.
  • To all credits from the new date, with advance notice.
